The Adluh Flour Mill is one of the most endearing landmarks in the Columbia Vista. While the Allen Brothers Milling Company continues operation from the 804 Gervais Street location, the main building was restored and repurposed for commercial and retail businesses, including Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom.
Specialty Woodworks designed and built the custom entry and side doors. All were stile and rail construction using stave core with sapele veneer for durability and long-lasting endurance to weather and pests. Extira® exterior panels were also used for the doorways to protect against harsh weather conditions. The interior work we provided included treads and handrails in the main stairwells.
