Specialty Woodworks provided services to transform the historic location into a modern office with valuable amenities for employees and visitors.
Window seats at the front entrance, constructed of maple veneers and solids, provide space for retail displays along with concealed storage beneath. The swing-up doors provide convenient access to slide-out storage shelving.
At the center of the office, is the reception desk with multiple design features. The service counter is fabricated with solid surface materials and integrates with a live-edge walnut counter which transitions to the support end. The matching walnut back wall wraps into the ceiling area above the reception desk where hanging LED fixtures illuminate the workspace.
Cabinetry and casework, fabricated with long-lasting laminate-clad, were installed in the main hallway and the breakroom. For the restroom basins and window seats surrounding the front entrance, maple veneers and solids were used.
Solid surface countertops were used in the restrooms and the breakroom for low maintenance and easy cleanability.
Trim work throughout the space was installed using solid engineered materials so pests and rot are never an issue around windows and entranceways.
