The hotel is located across the street from SRP Park, home of the Greenjackets baseball. Specialty Woodworks became a part of the build team that brought this local favorite to life.
For this project we provided custom-designed products created with a unique assortment of materials. This included a variety of quartz and engineered stones, rift-cut white oak solids, garapa and poplar woods, wood veneers, plastic laminates, steel wall paneling, antique mirrors, tubular black steel and brass shelving, upholstery materials, low voltage LED lighting, and faux greenery.
Our installations are located in feature areas such as the reception area, the Market Place store, conference center, first floor elevator lobby, the common area, the rooftop terrace, and the on-site restaurant. Additional areas include the employee dining areas and offices, fitness room, restrooms, storage areas and the front entrance signage.
The scope of our work included cabinetry and casework fabricated in-house with veneers and plastic laminates. Millwork, open casings, and wall trim fabricated with paint-grade poplar. Display shelving, manufactured with blackened tubular steel and brass fittings, complement the reception, elevator, market place, and common areas’ blackened matte-finish wall paneling. The front desk also matched the steel paneling and complemented with white oak solids, veneers, and quartz tops.
Ceiling installations completed included the blackened steel feature above the front desk and the shiplap white oak planks in the common area.
The common area’s workstation consist of white oak solids and veneers in a walnut finish with quartz desktops. The computer areas have a privacy wall featuring exterior faux leather panels and leather upholstered interior panels to match the banquette seating upholstery. The bookcases are connected to the banquette seating with the tubular black steel and brass fittings.
The common and communal areas' transition features a live-edge table with tubular steel supports and brass connectors.
Installed countertops included various quartz tops and engineered stone countertops in the rooftop terrace.
The epicenter of the first floor is the communal room featuring the main bar. Its composition consists of quartz countertops, poplar, soffit cabinet doors with banker wire fronts, and LED-lit glass beverage shelves. The matching back bar includes tubular steel and brass shelving. Adjacent to the bar, is the communal table wall fitted with antiqued mirror panels and poplar solid trim work.
For Jackson’s Bluff rooftop terrace, we installed the vertical green wall using garapa wood slats, okoume panels and Make Be-Leaves® greenery. In the bar area, garapa was used for the bar's curtain wall, beverage shelf fronts, and the bar front kick plate. Okoume paint-grade plywood was used for shelves, cabinet doors, and panels. For outdoor conditions, we installed the engineered stone concrete countertops.
Restroom vanities built with quartz countertops and black steel supports were installed in the conference center, Jackson’s Bluff rooftop terrace and the Salt+Marrow restaurant.
A lot goes into what we do and how we do it. Meet the team that makes it happen.
