The South Carolina Bar Association serves S.C. lawyers and the public as a source of information. The SCBA’s Columbia office is rich in architectural design, aesthetics, and functionality.
The project featured plain sliced cherry veneers, with its beautifully surreal grain pattern, cherry solids, matching trim and casings, and granite countertops for a look of distinction.
Our work included the main foyer with floor-to-ceiling cherry wall panels with black laminate reveals between panels, staircase trim, cathedral accents, window aprons, pilasters, and the cherry header below the clerestory windows. The reception station was created using the same plain sliced cherry veneer panels and granite tops for the desk area and service counter.
The auditorium entrance features a curved wood panel wall with an integrated seamless door to a utility storage area. The continuous vertical grain from panel to panel enhanced the overall appearance of the wall feature.
Second-floor conference rooms were complimented with wood panel walls and matching door casings that concealed the metal door frames.
